AC2101: A Practical Foundation for Multi-AP Network Deployments
A multi-AP network is easier to deploy when control, wired connectivity and device power are planned together. The ZBT AC2101 brings centralized AP management, Gigabit Ethernet and four PoE-PSE ports into one compact controller for small commercial installations.
The deployment case
Offices, shops and other multi-room sites may need several access points without adding separate power connections at every location. The AC2101 centrally manages multiple AP devices and provides one Gigabit WAN port alongside four Gigabit LAN ports. Each LAN port supports PoE-PSE under IEEE 802.3af/at, with up to 30 W per port for compatible powered devices.

The practical advantage is a cleaner equipment plan: one device handles AP control, wired connections and power delivery. The actual design still depends on the AP count, the power required by each device and the available overall power budget.
Built for a compact installation
Inside, an MT7621A dual-core processor runs at up to 880 MHz with 256 MB DDR3 memory and 16 MB Nor flash as standard. The enclosure measures 109 × 83 × 29 mm. A long press of the reset button enters rescue flashing mode for firmware recovery.
Before specifying it for a site, check the uplink design, PoE compatibility and environmental conditions. The operating range is 0°C to 40°C and 10%–90% relative humidity without condensation. The package includes a 52 V 1.5 A adapter.
