WE2806: Reliable 4G Connectivity for Distributed Business Networks
Connectivity infrastructure
For branch offices, temporary sites and distributed operations, dependable connectivity is less about headline speed than maintaining a practical path to the internet when fixed-line service is unavailable, delayed or disrupted.

A compact LTE routing platform for flexible business deployments.
A pragmatic answer to the last-mile problem
Many business networks operate beyond the reach of predictable wired broadband. Retail rollouts may need connectivity before a lease line is activated. Construction teams move between sites. Pop-up facilities, kiosks and remote branches need a network that can be installed without waiting for local infrastructure.
This platform combines 4G LTE access with one 10/100 Mbps WAN port and three 10/100 Mbps LAN ports. That gives integrators a straightforward way to use cellular connectivity as the primary link, or to combine it with an existing Ethernet service as part of a more resilient network design.
Continuity built into the deployment logic
WAN failover and load-balancing support allow the router to sit at the centre of a dual-access strategy. For a small branch or unattended endpoint, this can reduce dependence on a single local provider and help keep essential cloud applications, payment terminals, telemetry or remote support channels reachable during an outage.
The value is operational rather than theatrical: fewer emergency site visits, faster temporary deployments and a clearer recovery path when the primary connection fails. Actual continuity depends on the selected LTE module, carrier coverage, configuration and the availability of each upstream service.
An open platform for solution providers
Built around the MT7628AN platform, with 128 MB of RAM and 16 MB of flash, the router supports OpenWrt and ZBT OS. A Mini-PCIe interface gives OEM customers and systems integrators flexibility when matching cellular modules and regional network requirements.
Cloud management, VPN support, system logs, static routing, port forwarding and DHCP provide a practical foundation for managed deployments. These capabilities make the platform relevant to organizations that need repeatable configuration across multiple sites, rather than a one-off consumer router.
Where it fits
Primary LTE access or backup connectivity for small offices and retail locations.
Rapid networking for construction sites, events, project offices and pop-up facilities.
A customizable OpenWrt-based platform for integrators, distributors and OEM programs.
Connectivity for monitoring, signage and other low-to-moderate bandwidth applications.
