WG1402 IPQ4019 4G LTE Router | 3x Mini-PCIe, 3x Nano SIM, MU-MIMO, Gigabit, Global LTE Bands
Enterprise Connectivity | Deployment Brief
For branch offices, temporary sites and distributed operations, connectivity failure is rarely just an IT problem. It interrupts transactions, cloud access, monitoring and customer service. A multi-interface router can reduce that exposure by combining cellular access, fixed-line WAN and local Gigabit networking in one deployment platform.

The business case: design for link failure, not ideal conditions
A conventional branch router may depend on one fixed broadband line or one cellular operator. That creates a single point of failure at sites where uptime affects revenue or operations. WG1402 can access the internet through 4G mobile dial-up or its 1000 Mbps WAN port, while WAN failover provides a practical path to keep the site connected when the primary link becomes unavailable.
The three Nano SIM and three Mini-PCIe interfaces also give integrators a flexible hardware base for multi-carrier projects. Actual modem modules, supported LTE bands and carrier certification should be selected and validated for each target country before deployment.
Network architecture
One platform for cellular, wired WAN and local distribution
One Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports support fixed-line uplink and high-speed local connections for terminals, cameras, gateways or switches. Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 provides up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5.8 GHz, with support for as many as 50 associated wireless clients.
Where the architecture creates operational value
Deployment checklist for integrators and buyers
A resilient design depends on more than interface count. Before ordering, confirm the LTE modem module and band combination for each destination market, the SIM and carrier policy, antenna placement, expected concurrent client load and the failover rules between cellular and wired WAN.
For managed deployments, define VPN requirements, remote administration policy, firmware baseline and logging before rollout. The router supports WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK wireless security, VPN, DHCP, NTP, blacklisting, hidden SSID and cloud management. Project-specific security hardening should still follow the buyer’s network policy.
