WE5928: Dual-SIM, Dual-Module LTE Access for Distributed Business Sites

ZBTWIFI

For distributed operations, connectivity is rarely lost because a network is missing. It is lost because a single carrier, a single SIM or a single radio module fails at the worst possible moment. WE5928 is built around that reality: two SIM slots and two LCC cellular module positions in one compact LTE router.

When the link drops at the counter, payments stop. Carrier redundancy keeps transactions moving.

Redundancy designed into the hardware

Most branch routers treat cellular as a backup path. WE5928 treats it as the primary path and then builds redundancy inside it. Dual SIM support allows two carrier profiles to coexist at one site, while two LCC module interfaces allow independent cellular modules rather than a single point of radio failure. Global LTE coverage across B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 keeps one hardware SKU viable across European, Asian and Latin American deployments, which simplifies procurement and spare-part logistics for buyers managing sites in several countries.

Where it fits

The platform is aimed at sites where a wired circuit is slow to install, unreliable or commercially unattractive. Typical deployments include retail and franchise locations that need a fast, uniform rollout; construction, energy and field sites where cellular is the only realistic access layer; temporary venues and pop-up operations; and secondary access at branch offices where a second carrier profile protects payment, POS and management traffic. In each case the 300Mbps wireless access layer serves staff devices, terminals and light IoT endpoints without additional access hardware.

Deployment considerations

Two questions decide most projects. First, carrier strategy: confirm that the bands your operators use in each country fall within B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 before standardising on one SKU. Second, module strategy: the dual LCC design is most valuable when the two module positions are populated to match your regional or carrier requirements, so specify that configuration at the quotation stage rather than after delivery. As an ODM/OEM platform, band, module and firmware configuration can be aligned to your deployment plan.
